At sixteen, Fikriye Dural dreams of escaping the future imposed on her in Karakuyu. Bright and eager to study, she is instead promised to Kadir Maranoğlu, the town’s powerful patriarch, to settle her family’s debts. She runs away with the man she loves, Alperen, but is caught and brought back on her wedding night. Believing she has dishonoured the family, her father orders her brother to kill her. Miraculously, Fikriye survives and takes a new name: Ferda Ateşer.

Twelve years later, Ferda has built an independent life in Istanbul alongside her closest friend, Nehir. But unexpected news draws her back to Karakuyu: she has inherited valuable land in the very town she fled with nothing.

Kadir’s nephew, Kahraman Maranoğlu, is sent to find the heiress and buy her land. Before either knows the other’s identity, a chance encounter sparks an undeniable attraction. Hours later, Kahraman discovers that the woman he cannot forget is the heiress he is seeking. Ferda, in turn, learns that the man she is drawn to belongs to the family she has spent years escaping.

Determined to sell her inheritance and leave, Ferda changes her mind when she discovers that her younger sisters, Aliye and Mısra, face a fate much like her own. To protect them, she must stay and confront the past she thought she had left behind.

FERDA follows a woman who returns under a new identity to face the family that tried to kill her and fight for her sisters, her land and the right to choose her own future.
